Our event centre, positioned along the Yarra River, boasts large windows that create an inviting, light-filled space. State-of-the-art technology controls light and sound, offering flexibility for any occasion. The space can host up to 650 guests as one large area or be divided for more intimate gatherings. Our guests can mingle in flexible spaces that flow seamlessly from social to private, indoor to outdoor.



The Opportunity:

We are seeking an ambitious and passionate Sales Coordinator to support the sales team in generating revenue and driving business growth for the hotel. Your efforts contribute to the overall success of the hotel and play a crucial role in maintaining customer relationships by providing excellent customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle inquiries from potential clients about meeting spaces, event bookings and provide information to facilitate the sales process.
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals and contracts.
  • Coordinate the booking process for meetings, events and accommodations, liaising with clients, internal departments and vendors
  • Maintain client databases and records, tracking bookings, interactions and preferences to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team.
  • Prepare and maintain sales reports, tracking KPI’s such as revenue, bookings and conversion rates.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in sales, business or related field
  • Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that resonate with our people-focused ethos.
  • Advanced skills in basic necessary industry software.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in sales and hospitality.
