The Sales Content and Design Specialist (Associate I) role is a part of our India-based Visual Design Center of Excellence. Individuals in this role will remotely support several Huron sales efforts and opportunities by creating, editing, or enhancing graphics, presentations, visuals, and other multimedia that tell the story of Huron’s products and services. This team’s responsibilities include creating presentation templates and new graphics and formatting presentations to ensure they are polished and on brand. This individual will start in one industry to gain knowledge and experience and then may advance to other industries if needed/as desired.
A Visual Design Presentation and Graphic Specialist is responsible for creating visually cohesive designs, engaging presentations, and compelling graphics while ensuring brand consistency and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. They also manage multiple design projects, maintain high-quality standards, and stay updated with the latest design trends and tools.
Presentation Design
- Design and develop engaging and visually appealing presentations for sales
- Work with stakeholders to understand the objectives and key messages of presentations.
- Synthesize content-heavy presentations and documents into visually appealing presentations and powerful client material
- Create custom templates and slide layouts for various presentation needs.
- Incorporate multimedia elements such as images, videos, and animations to enhance presentations.
- Ensure presentations are optimized for different formats and devices.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
Other Graphic Design
- Create custom graphics for engagements, such as infographics, new summary graphics, or digital media.
- Develop infographics and data visualizations to communicate complex information effectively.
- Edit and retouch images to meet project requirements.
- Support Marketing and Sales creative projects, as needed; be open to learning new skills in visual design.
Project Management and Content Management
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects.
- Help maintain and improve our template, layout, icon, photo libraries with best-in-class content
Visual Identity and Brand Support and Advancement
- Maintain visual design guidelines and standards with other designers; provide new ideas as needed.
- Create visually appealing and cohesive designs that align with brand visual identity.
- Ensure consistency in visual elements across all marketing, sales, and delivery materials.
- Meet regularly with other designers to share ideas and make improvements to deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools.
- Support creating and providing content and design education to individuals in Marketing and Sales designer roles and roles that need foundational design knowledge (e.g., other sales support roles, sellers).
Position Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional graphic design and page layout experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- Proficient in written and oral English
- Ability to work across time zones
- Demonstrated high proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
- General knowledge of Adobe CC InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
- Proficiency with MS Word, O365, Teams, Zoom for communication and process execution
- Excellent creativity, graphic design and problem-solving aptitude
- High proficiency understanding of visual elements (layout, type, fonts)
- Demonstrated past performance in working independently and as a part of a larger team while achieving quality objectives on multiple, concurrent assignments
- Ability to review technical content and recommend graphic ideas
- Listen, present, and explain ideas clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues at all levels while open to constructive criticism
- Ability to absorb, follow and implement company brand guidelines
