As a Sales team member within DevOn Netherlands, you will be responsible for growing (hunter and new business mindset) and scaling the DevOn service offerings across a wide range of companies in the Netherlands.


Experience: 1 to 4 years

Job Function

  • Hunt and identify new business opportunities by calling warm and cold contacts based on ideal customer profile (ICP)
  • Invite the ICP and target personas like the head of software engineering, CTO, CIO, VP of Software engineering, Director of Product Development, etc., to ongoing and upcoming DevOn hosted marketing events (both online and offline, like webinars, round tables, and conferences)
  • Taking the lead in owning and creating the campaigns, particularly in filling the seats with relevant audience/target personas.
  • Set up discovery meetings with ICP to understand their software development, capacity, or quality challenges.
  • Work in two-week sprints where your typical goals per sprint will be the number of meetings booked with relevant ICP, the number of leads generated, and the number of people who will participate in DevOn or its sister companies’ hosted events or campaigns.
  • Understanding that sales is a numbers game that’s not done behind a desk. Meetings with (potential customers are key!
  • Experience working in a fast-growing environment and hands-on sales skills
  • Ambitious and willing to go the extra mile
  • Strong network with the ability to develop new relationships in the Dutch market
  • Partner with internal technical consultants and delivery leads to promptly discover and present solution proposals.

Required Experience, Skills, and Metrics

  • Proven track record of placing technology (C#.DOTNET, Java, PHP, low code, Quality assurance, DevOps (Azure, AWS), Data Engineering, Python, AI, etc) consultants locally or from remote teams (Offshore or Nearshore) in customer software development roles.
  • Minimum HBO from a four-year college or university
  • Professionalism with written and verbal communication - Dutch and English
  • Ability to travel within the Netherlands and occasionally outside NL
