Assist walk-in and phone customers with their orders, answer questions and advise customers regarding our products, process customer and vendor order confirmations, perform detailed data entry for orders through Bistrack software (We will train). This position sells wood flooring through the use of technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence and assist the customer in their buying decisions. Our #1 commitment is to the service of our customers. We work with contractors, designers, and retail customers to choose products that fit their budget. Knowledge of the wood floor industry and wood flooring products is preferred. Leads by example at all times. Minimum qualifications for the job: 1) Understanding of sales techniques and processes of the construction industry 2) Excellent written and verbal communication 3) Excellent customer relations skills including customer response, service improvement and the ability and willingness to keep commitments 4) Excellent math skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages Be punctual, dependable and able to multitask We will provide candidate with NWFA University courses, online training and out of state classes. Candidate must start the learning process by working in our warehouse to learn our products and codes. Time spent in the warehouse is based on the individual. During the time in the warehouse, you will also be responsible for daily training on computer software.
