Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Sales Account Executive with at least 3 years of experience specializing in the commercial real estate, energy efficiency, and/or sustainability sector. Experience with software sales will be highly regarded.


You will be responsible for driving revenue through new customer acquisition and will own the sales process for prospects interested in purchasing Touchstone IQ’s energy management software and services.


Location: Denver, CO (hybrid position - 3 days in-office; 2 days from home)


Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Business Development to develop and execute a prospect outreach strategy and sales plan to meet assigned revenue targets
  • Lead or support prospecting via emails, cold calls, and LinkedIn to book meetings
  • Conduct demo presentations, adapting educational content as appropriate for the audience
  • Lead and manage sales process end-to-end; In cases of leading national or enterprise-level clients, Director of Business Development may also be involved
  • Maintain HubSpot CRM database with timely and well-organized account updates, customer follow-up, and sales forecasts
  • Regularly review completed calls and other communications to find areas of improvement
  • Continuously grow your knowledge of products, the CRE industry, competition, and potential partners


Experience Required

Sales Experience

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience, with a primary focus on the commercial real estate sector
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding enterprise-level sales target
  • Experience closing deals +$100K strongly preferred

Communication Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to quickly learn and articulate technical concepts (i.e. energy benchmarking, building performance standards, ESG, etc.) and SaaS products
  • Experience developing or adapting sales content including presentations, one-sheeters, webinars, etc.

Strategic Thinking

  • Strong strategic thinker able to define and execute a sales plan to target ideal commercial real estate and enterprise-level customers

Results-Driven

  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive growth and achieve measurable results

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Experience selling B2B software solutions or with energy efficiency or sustainability field(s) would be highly advantageous


Compensation

Compensation is dependent on experience with a base salary starting at $65,000 plus competitive sales-based commission. Additional benefits include healthcare and dental insurance, parental leave, a Denver RTD EcoPass, a hybrid work schedule, paid holidays, vacation and sick days as well as a matching 401K package.
