Position Overview

The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and initiatives within the organization to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role involves assessing and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and education to employees on best practices and safety protocols.
• Lead accident investigations to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Oversee hazardous materials management and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, making recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated on OSHA regulations and industry standards to ensure the organization remains compliant.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Minimum 7 Years of dedicated construction safety experience.
• Experience in commercial, civil, and self-perform concrete vertical projects.
• Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in a relevant industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
• Familiarity with safety training and accident investigation methods.
• Experience in emergency response planning and hazardous materials management.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
• BCSP designation is a plus.
