This role
As the Team Lead of HR Implementations & Customer Training, you will be responsible for leading a team of 8+ Consultants, ensuring their success through clear direction, strategic support, and hands-on guidance. Your expertise in HRIS systems, along with their connected workflows, will be essential in optimising system performance and enhancing the customer experience.

Your key focus areas will be:
1. Project Delivery – Allocate projects, manage deadlines and quality, resolve client issues, and lead HR-related initiatives and training. While leadership is your primary focus, you may also take on 1-3 projects to stay connected to the work, gaining firsthand insight into challenges and opportunities. This hands-on approach will enhance your ability to guide, support, and drive impactful outcomes.
2. Team Management – Support and develop direct reports through coaching, performance feedback, and learning opportunities. Promote a positive, high-performing team culture with clear goals, open communication, and effective team meetings. Manage team reporting and recognise contributions or address issues as needed.
3. Subject Matter Expertise – Maintain strong knowledge of ANZ HR/Payroll legislation and internal systems. Ensure data accuracy and compliance across tools and processes while upholding quality standards within the team.
4. Innovation & Process Improvement – Lead projects and initiatives aligned with EH goals. Continuously assess and improve delivery processes, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
5. Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with leadership to refine processes, manage change, and contribute to the strategic direction of HR Implementations and CX Training. Your ability to communicate effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and lead with agility will be key to success in this dynamic environment.


Who you are
To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:

  • 5+ years of HR implementations and/or Customer Training delivery experience.
  • 3+ years of managing a team, preferably with some experience managing a remote team.
  • Proficiency in training tools, LMS platforms, and performance tracking systems.
  • High level of written and verbal communication including stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to identify and solve complex issues. This includes troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and collaborating to implement effective solutions.
