Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced and innovative SAP S/4HANA Principal Architect Lead to spearhead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions across all business functions. This critical role will ensure that technology solutions align with business requirements, drive process optimization, and support long-term strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of deep technical expertise and strong business acumen to deliver exceptional solution designs, manage change effectively, and promote collaboration among cross-functional stakeholders, SAP partners, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Collaborate with process owners, business users, and implementation partners to lead the analysis of current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and design end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solutions that align with SAP capabilities, industry best practices, and organizational objectives.
• Create detailed architecture and configuration documentation to support implementation and maintenance.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirement Gathering

• Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, facilitating workshops and discussions that capture and translate business needs into scalable, reliable SAP solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience, while ensuring mutual understanding of solution implications.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Collaborate with IT teams and business users to define and execute integrated testing plans, including unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Ensure timely resolution of system issues or process gaps to maintain delivery quality and validate system functionality

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay current on SAP S/4HANA advancements, including new releases, emerging features, and industry trends to identify and champion opportunities for process automation, optimization, enhanced user adoption, and scalable solution enhancements.

Change Management & Communication

• Ensure all stakeholders are informed of changes, benefits, and impacts through clear and consistent communication.
• Support change management initiatives by identifying key stakeholders and promoting user adoption to ensure smooth transitions through project phases.

Collaboration & Support

• Serve as the bridge between the client and consulting teams, ensuring business expectations are clearly understood and accurately translated into technical solutions.
• Continuously engage with internal consultants and data analysts to provide architectural oversight and mentorship to technical consultants during design and build phases, ensuring architectural integrity and business alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of SAP experience, including at least 4 years as a principal architect in S/4HANA implementations.
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, modules (such as Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, or others), and integration points.
• Proven experience in end-to-end solution design and implementation across complex business environments.
• Strong business process knowledge and ability to map processes to SAP capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA certification(s) in relevant modules or architecture.
• Experience working with RISE with SAP and cloud deployment models.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and agile project delivery frameworks.
• Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site enterprise environments.
