Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic, fast-growing SaaS team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend systems while working closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications.
• Work extensively with PostgreSQL and apply design patterns for performance and maintainability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using RSpec and test-driven development (TDD) practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies relevant to web application development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Ruby on Rails in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and software design principles/patterns.
• Hands-on experience with RSpec and TDD methodologies.
• A startup mindset: self-driven, problem-solving, and adaptable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MCA, or equivalent experience.

Bonus / Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience working in SaaS or product-based environments.
