Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Routing Analyst to join our dynamic team in the A2P SMS industry. As a Routing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations in optimizing and managing the SMS routing infrastructure, ensuring high-quality, cost-efficient message delivery. You will work closely with internal teams and external carriers to monitor traffic, resolve issues, and implement strategic routing solutions to maximize the effectiveness of our messaging services. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking with strong technical understanding of A2P messaging flows.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in optimizing and managing SMS routing to ensure high delivery success rates, competitive pricing, and overall quality of service across multiple destinations
• Monitor SMS traffic and performance, ensuring smooth and efficient message delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve message delivery issues in coordination with technical teams, aggregators, and mobile network operators (MNOs)
• Collaborate with account managers and sales teams to define routing strategies based on customer priorities and business objectives
• Support the onboarding of new suppliers and clients by validating test traffic and setting up routing and billing configurations
• Work closely with the NOC and technical support teams to monitor real-time traffic and take corrective actions
• Implement and maintain rate updates for different destinations, ensuring correct billing and margin optimization
• Manage sender ID registration processes across regulated markets, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations and coordinating with partners for timely approvals
• Collaborate with the product teams on the development of new features and the automation of routing-related systems and processes
• Take part in resolving potential disputes by validating discrepancies in delivery or billing reports, performing data reconciliation with partners and ensuring accurate traffic reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in SMS industry, preferably in a routing or operational role
• Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret large sets of delivery and routing data
• Familiarity with routing platforms, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Wireshark

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SMS protocols (SMPP, HTTP, SS7, APIs)
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and logs related to SMPP or SS7
• Understanding of database queries for analyzing traffic logs and delivery data
• Prior involvement in automating workflows using internal tools, scripts, or AI systems
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for A2P messaging
