Our housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our hotel for our guests and to help ensure they feel welcome and enjoy their stay. Tasks will involve cleaning public areas and guestrooms, including changing sheets, mopping floors and cleaning restrooms.
Job Description/Responsibilities
Approach all guests and employees with a smile.
Make beds, change linens, clean and sanitize guestrooms and bathrooms.
Vacuum, sweep or mop floors as appropriate.
Restock guest supplies such as soap, shampoo, bottles of water or coffee service.
Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
Clean public areas such as hallways, lobby and public restrooms.
Report any technical or maintenance issues to supervisor.
Perform other tasks / jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Intermittent “deep cleaning” tasks, including but not limited to cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and furniture, rehanging sliding doors, etc.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous housekeeping experience a PLUS
Ability to bend, lift, carry and move 25-30 pounds
Ability to work standing or walking for entire shift
Work with little or no supervision while maintaining high-levels of cleanliness and efficiency
Strong attention to detail
Available to work a varied schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
Ability to communicate with guests and team members.
