Based near Indianapolis, IN we're an established roofing subcontractor with an excellent culture that offers growth. Currently, we are looking for an Estimator to spearhead projects in and around the local region.
This is a great opportunity for a high performing estimator who enjoys a competitive base salary + commission plan.
What You Will Be Doing
- Estimate job costs and submit proposals
- Write submittal letters
- Use bid log to track bids and their progress
- Ensure processes are followed: pre-bid to handoff meeting
- Draft proposals to GCs and clients
- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services
- Track costs relative to bids throughout project life cycle
- Collaborate with clients, vendors & other members to manage estimates and resolve issues
- Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
- Assist in budget development for operations
What You Need For This Position
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- OSHA 10/30 Certification
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
