We are seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to join our innovative team and lead the integration of custom actuators and sensors with Jetson GPUs. The role involves leveraging the NVIDIA Issac platform and the use of VLA models to build intelligent robotic systems and developing an application layer that enhances functionality and adaptability. Responsibilities
• Integrate and optimize custom actuators and sensors with Jetson GPUs for advanced robotic systems.
• Utilize VLA models to develop intelligent motion control, perception, and decision-making capabilities.
• Build and maintain an application layer on top of Issac ROS and VLA (GR00T N1/pi0) workflows to enable seamless interaction between hardware and software components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of hardware, software, and AI models.
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of robotic systems in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Stay updated on advancements in robotics and AI technologies to incorporate best practices into projects.
• Document design specifications, development processes, and project outcomes.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Strong experience in integrating robotic hardware with GPUs or similar high-performance computing systems.
• Hands-on experience with VLA models or LLMs for robotics perception tasks.
• Proficiency in Python for use in robotics applications.
• Familiarity with the NVIDIA Isaac platform.
• Expertise in motion control algorithms, reinforcement learning, or imitation learning techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of safety standards for robotic systems is a plus.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with synthetic motion generation pipelines or simulation-to-reality transfer techniques.
