Job Description

The Robotic Technical Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the technical operations for our new robotic business venture. This position will involve strategic planning, implementation, and operational oversight of robotic solutions. The candidate will lead technical teams, coordinate closely with sales teams, and support client engagements by providing expert technical advice, developing customized robotic solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for robotics system integration, implementation, and after-sales support.
• Lead the setup, management, and development of a technical team to support robotic sales and project implementation.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to analyze client requirements, recommend suitable robotic solutions, and prepare compelling technical proposals.
• Oversee feasibility studies, proof of concept demonstrations, and detailed technical assessments.
• Liaise with robotic technology partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient execution and project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, quality assurance, and industry best practices.
• Mentor and train team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and continuous skill development within the technical team.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve technical issues promptly.

Required Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in robotics, automation, or related engineering fields, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior technical leadership role.
• Strong understanding of robotic systems such as AMRs, cobots, SCARA, or articulated robots. Proven experience managing robotic or automation system integration projects, ideally across multiple industries such as manufacturing, electronics, plantation, or logistics.
• Strong background in technical sales support, customer engagement, and client relationship management.
• Hands-on experience with robotic platforms, system integration, programming, and automation technologies.
• Track record of successfully leading technical teams, mentoring team members, and driving performance.
• Familiarity with industrial standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in robotics or automation-related fields is highly advantageous.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English & Mandarin (read & write)
