Brief Description
The Senior Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer will drive the design, development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade automation solutions using platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar tools. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes, a track record of delivering scalable RPA solutions, and a passion for driving digital transformation and operational efficiency across the organization.
Specific Job Duties And Responsibilities
Adhere to vision, mission, and goals of organization.
Designs and architects complex RPA solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, automation strategy, and industry best practices.
Coordinates the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of RPA bots, including selection and configuration of development tools, code repositories, and logging mechanisms.
Performs advanced testing, debugging, and performance tuning of RPA bots to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance with business and IT standards.
Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, data engineers, IT operations, and stakeholders—to analyze automation opportunities, define requirements, and deliver impactful solutions.
Authors and maintains comprehensive technical and user documentation, including design specifications, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
Drives continuous improvement by identifying automation optimization opportunities and enhancing existing bots for better performance and maintainability.
Establishes and enforces RPA development standards, governance models, and reusable design patterns to ensure consistency, quality, and sustainability across the automation ecosystem.
Monitors, analyzes, and reports on bot performance, proactively identifying issues, managing incidents, and recommending strategic enhancements to maximize business value.
Performs all other duties as assigned in support of the organization’s digital transformation goals.
Education, Certification, Licensure, Registration
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years of experience in RPA development
Experience in any of the programming languages like C/C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net.
Proficiency in RPA tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere is required.
Experience in developing robotic process automation (RPA) using UI Path or Power Automate.
Familiarity with databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and API integration (REST, SOAP).
Able to design technical specification documents for RPA Projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.
A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality solutions and to identify areas for process improvement.
Experience with cognitive services, OCR, AI/ML integrations.
Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a capacity for translating product and business needs into technical specifications.
Prefered Qualifications
Certification in RPA tools such as Power Automate Certified RPA Developer or similar certifications.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for RPA.
Familiar with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Basic understanding of machine learning/deep learning.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
Interpersonal Skills
Must interact and communicate both verbally and in written form.
Must interact and exchange information regarding patients with physicians and other departmental personnel, and outside agencies on a frequent basis while respecting the confidentiality of patient information.
