Summary

Job Title: RPA Engineer – UiPath Specialist


Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced RPA Engineer with expertise in UiPath development and support to join our digital transformation initiatives across the State of Tennessee. This individual will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing automation workflows, ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure RPA solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance automation workflows using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and related tools, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using application monitoring tools, logs, and user reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing bot performance, implementing error handling, and applying best practices in bot design.
  • Collaborate with business users to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and translate them into effective RPA solutions.
  • Assist in UAT, deployment, and hypercare support phases of automation projects.
  • Maintain detailed and clear documentation for automations, operational procedures, and support guides.
  • Adhere to enterprise standards for change management, version control, and security.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with UiPath development, including Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot deployment.
  • At least 4+ years in application support or IT operations, preferably in RPA/automation environments.
  • Proficiency in .NET, VB, C#, SQL, or scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Windows environments, virtual machines, and cloud-based support tools.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ZenDesk, ServiceNow) and support documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with security standards, access controls, and data protection in automation solutions.
  • Exposure to AI integration in automation workflows, including use of NLP, OCR, or ML components to enhance RPA capabilities.
