This position reports to

R&D Department Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to serve as the design team manager in Robotics R&D China software team

Responsible for planning and developing software related competences of the development team.

Contributing to overseeing efficient project execution for the team, including all day-to-day activities and priorities, responsible for overall capacity planning and management of the team.

Contributing to delivering high-quality, scalable and cost-effective solutions that meet business requirements over the product lifetime.

Serving as a technical resource for internal and external contacts.

Collaborate with x-function in daily working environment.

Contributing to the performance of the local management team by providing your ideas and insight.

Ensure that general administrative facilities are aligned to local law and regulations, including work safety/HSE, IS/IT Adhering to, and partner with, the LBU regarding work safety/HSE etc.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor degree or above in Computer science, Automation, Mechanical Eng. or equivalent.
• 8+ years’ in product/technical development, project, and/or line management.
• Good understanding of technology and product development.
• Good interpersonal skill, familiar with local labor law and regulations.
• General competencies: Leadership skills, global mindset, business understanding, results orientation.
• Self-motivated and open-minded.
