Our manager will come with a purpose and the intent to support collaborative problem solving, as well as solid experience with electronic charting and keeping ALL the balls in the air! * An educator's mindset and belief that our staff is most successful when they are empowered with the knowledge to be their best. * Prominent leadership characteristics like professionalism, critical thinking, autonomy, and positivity. Our ideal manager is intuitive and most comfortable when working with the team. * A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a minimum of one (1) year of experience with management or supervisory in geriatrics and be knowledgeable of state and federal regulations in the long-term care and assisted living setting. Your Responsibilities as the Unit Manager at Seaside will include: * Ensuring nursing care is provided, staffing is maintained, and all programs, policies, and medical regimens are followed. * Examining, improving, and developing policies and procedures for our resident's safety and the team's success. * Working collaboratively with a progressive DON in a manner that supports and enhances the department's goals. * Performing clinical nursing care as needed.
