We are seeking a Highly experienced and knowledgeable Registered Nurse (Retired) offering specialized consulting services in Medicaid Compliance. Possessing a comprehensive understanding of state and federal Medicaid regulations, policies, and procedures, provide expert guidance to healthcare organizations seeking to navigate the complexities of Medicaid compliance, ensuring adherence, minimizing risk, and optimizing reimbursement strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training sessions to client staff on relevant clinical aspects of Medicaid certification, such as patient rights, infection control, and quality of care.
• Develop and deliver training programs for the compliance team, focusing on the Medicaid certification process.
• Create comprehensive training materials, including guides, presentations, and workflows, to support the Consult Atlas Foundation Team in managing client processes.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on Medicaid regulations and compliance processes. Provide expert guidance to the compliance team on Medicaid certification requirements and best practices.
• Review client policies and procedures from a clinical perspective to ensure they meet Medicaid requirements related to patient care, safety, and quality.
• Provide guidance on developing and revising policies and procedures to align with best practices and Medicaid regulations.
• Serve as a clinical resource for the team, providing insights and guidance on aspects related to the certification process.
• Stay updated on current clinical standards and best practices relevant to Medicaid certification.
• Train Consult Atlas Foundation staff in relevant aspects inherent to mock surveys.
• Identify potential areas of non-compliance with Medicaid standards.
• Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for improvement of clients’ paperwork.
• Advise the compliance team on the intricacies of managing the Medicaid certification process on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to address client-specific challenges and tailor solutions to meet their needs.

Qualifications:

• Retired Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Medicaid compliance, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of Medicaid regulations and certification processes. Specially MassHealth provider Enrollment, HCBS Waiver including Frail elderly waiver, ABI-MFP Waiver
• Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented virtual environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active or previously active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in Massachusetts state.
• Experience working directly with compliance teams or account management in a healthcare setting. Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar credential.
