Summary

Key Responsibilities: * Support Data analytics and Decision Science needs of KMRF * Develop and implement statistical models to support loan origination and risk assessment. * Assist Group Manager in developing and refining Credit and Lending strategies * Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights * Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build predictive models. * Assist in recommending automation strategies that balances risk and efficiency. * Validate and test models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Preprocess, augment, and clean large datasets for building predictive models * Collaborate with underwriting and risk management teams to integrate models into loan origination. * Monitor model performance and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and effectiveness. * Develop and maintain Loss forecasting models * Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in statistical modeling and machine learning; identify opportunities to incorporate them in KMRF's Decision Logic. * Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. * Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and domain experts * All other job duties as assigned Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in statistical modeling, data analysis, or related roles. * Strong proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SAS). * Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques. * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and MLOps tools for model deployment * Strong communication and presentation skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Proven experience influencing strategy and driving change across org boundaries through clear and compelling communication of data-driven insights and analyses * Ability to work on-site at our Foothill Ranch, CA office. * Intellectual curiosity, drive, and decisiveness with ambiguous and complex environments Profile Differentiators: * Experience in founding, co-founding or working in a fast-paced startup environment * Experience in Powersports Finance Industry (motorcycle, ATVs UTVs, PWCs) * Experience in a FinTech startup * Prior experience in managing a team of Data Scientists and Risk Analysts * Master's degree or Advanced Professional degree Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
