Description

Bizzell US is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Risk QA Analyst to support FOH’s enterprise risk management and quality assurance functions. This role will maintain the program risk registry, coordinate internal audits, support corrective action planning, and ensure compliance with the contract’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management

  • Maintain and update the FOH program-wide risk registry, ensuring all risks are logged, categorized, and assigned.
  • Coordinate with task leads to identify new risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor implementation of risk response actions and escalate unresolved items to leadership.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct regular internal QA audits across technical and operational workstreams to verify compliance with performance objectives.
  • Track findings and support continuous improvement plans to address process gaps or performance issues.
  • Validate deliverables against quality metrics and document audit results.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and submit risk-related reports, heat maps, and audit summaries to the COR and Bizzell program leadership.
  • Participate in bi-weekly status meetings to update stakeholders on risk trends and mitigation progress.
  • Coordinate with the Configuration Manager and PMO to ensure risk management aligns with change control processes.

Compliance Support

  • Ensure risk and QA activities align with federal standards such as ANSI/ISO 31000, OMB A-123, and HHS-specific policy.
  • Support pre-audit and compliance readiness activities for security, quality, and programmatic reviews.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in risk analysis or quality assurance roles within IT or federal programs.
  • Familiarity with risk management methodologies, QA audit processes, and project controls.
  • Proficiency in Excel, risk tracking tools, and report development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting HHS, CMS, or other federal health agencies.
  • Understanding of ITIL, NIST RMF, or ISO 9001 quality frameworks.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with an ability to work cross-functionally.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid with some on-site presence at Rockville, MD for audits, briefings, and project reviews.
  • Availability required during standard FOH business hours (7 AM – 6 PM EST).
