We help drive a high-performance risk team by ensuring key risk activities are done well. We do this by overseeing the risk governance process and communicating our risk management capabilities internally and externally, including with regulators. This newly created role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of risk and business leaders to run our risk governance process while challenging the status quo by continuously enhancing and evolving our risk governance program. Internally, this position will interact with various risk and business teams at all management levels within the Guardian enterprise as well as seek to effectively deploy governance tools to increase overall transparency and effectiveness. You will * Help to manage risk governance oversight activities. * Lead risk-related regulatory filing process which includes collaborating with risk owners to capture current state of resiliency. * Conduct risk project oversight. * Help drive forward enhancements to the risk-related regulatory filing process. * Lead risk governance process improvements. * Manage prioritized cross-functional risk reduction projects. Reporting Relationships This role reports to the Head of Strategic Risk Management who reports to the Chief Risk Officer Location Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH - Hudson Yards, New York City Salary Range: $101,180.00 - $166,220.00 The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
