The Right of Way Manager is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT). This is technical and professional administrative work in managing right-of-way property acquisitions for ALDOT. Employees in this class manage the entire right-of-way acquisition process over one of five geographic regions within ALDOT. Some positions in this class work within the Right of Way Bureau directing a statewide right-of-way program in areas such as appraisal, appraisal review, acquisition, or property management.
