Summary

Overview

We are seeking a skilled RF (Radio Frequency) Technician to perform various testing and troubleshooting of RF systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with RF test equipment such as VNAs, SAs, antennas, and related test equipment, along with a strong understanding of signal propagation, RF measurements, and electronics fundamentals.


Duties

  • Conduct RF testing using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Perform RF testing during environmental testing (thermal and vibe).
  • Calibrate RF equipment and ensure compliance with operational standards and FCC regulations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Document all maintenance activities, test results, and system configurations.
  • Support engineering teams with system integration and prototype testing.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment required for RF testing.
  • Diagnose and repair RF equipment failures and performance issues.


Experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with RF systems and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of RF principles, signal propagation, and wireless communication systems.
  • Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., FCC, OSHA).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in various environments, including outdoor field work.
