Position Summary

As Revenue Cycle Director, you will help drive performance improvement and cost savings across our Member hospitals by partnering with revenue cycle leaders, CFOs, and vendors. This role plays a key part in shaping TPC’s revenue cycle strategy and delivering value to our Members through high-impact projects and trusted relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Performance Initiatives:

  • Guide implementation of best practices and performance improvement projects across patient access, revenue integrity, HIM, managed care, patient accounting, and physician practice management.
  • Identify gaps, build cases for change, and deliver strategic recommendations based on data analysis and benchmarking.
  • Optimize systems, workflows, and operations at Member hospitals.

Engage Member Leaders:

  • Build strong relationships with Member revenue cycle teams, directors, and CFOs.
  • Facilitate targeted workgroups and subcommittees to drive collaboration and results.
  • Coordinate and present content for Member councils, executive steering committees, and quarterly Board of Managers meetings.

Manage Vendors & Projects:

  • Oversee strategic vendor partnerships, performance, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop and launch new programs and projects that support Member needs and business objectives.
  • Drive execution using internal and external resources to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Support TPC Operations:

  • Contribute to team operations, planning, and administration.
  • Lead and support TPC-hosted meetings, webinars, and events.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare (MBA preferred)
  • At least 10 years of revenue cycle experience in hospital and physician settings
  • Minimum 5 years with a healthcare revenue cycle consulting firm or multi-facility system
  • Deep expertise across patient access, HIM/coding, revenue integrity, and patient accounting
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, GE, Allscripts, and other major systems
  • Active involvement in industry groups (e.g., HFMA, MGMA, ACHE)
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
