Revenue Controller – 4 Positions | Hybrid | Multiple UK Locations
We’re hiring! We are looking for four Revenue Controllers to join a forward-thinking professional services group with multiple business divisions. These are influential roles within a collaborative finance function, where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to drive commercial performance and improve financial outcomes across the business.
Locations:
You’ll be based in or within commuting distance of one of the following offices:
Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Reading or London (St Paul’s).
Travel:
2–4 days per month travel to Birmingham will be required. All travel expenses are fully covered.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partnering with fee-earning teams to enhance profitability and improve working capital performance
- Leading regular WIP and billing review meetings with Matter Managers
- Supporting tasks including write-offs, dormant closures, and reassignment of work
- Collaborating with the wider finance team to monitor KPIs and improve financial reporting
- Supporting credit control and working to improve cash collection
- Acting as a key point of contact for finance queries from stakeholders across the business
- Helping shape the strategic direction of the Revenue Controller function
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a similar revenue or WIP finance role, ideally within legal or professional services
- Strong track record of business partnering with non-financial stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail, with a data-led and commercial mindset
- Confident communicator able to engage with senior leaders across different functions
- Proactive, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Collaborative team player who also thrives working independently
