Key Responsibilities

A large life sciences company with a global footprint is actively looking to hire a Revenue Controller. The role will lead a team responsible for revenue accounting operations globally and maintaining compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with finance, commercial operations, and technical accounting. Additional details include:

• Lead the monthly and quarterly revenue close processes
• Apply GAAP and ASC 606 for revenue
• Oversee G2N revenue accounting
• Partner with FP&A, sales ops, and legal to assess accounting treatment for new contracts and initiatives
• Manage internal controls and SOX documentation related to the revenue cycle
• Act as a key liaison for internal and external audits
• Mentor and manage a small team
• Optimize processes and systems
• Support SEC reporting requirements related to revenue
  
  

Preferred Experience

• 9+ years of relevant revenue accounting experience to include public company
• Background in life sciences, biotech, or pharma is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of G2N accounting in a complex commercial environment
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Exposure to international operations
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• CPA preferred
