This is a 3 month contract with permanent potential

Role: The Revenue Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (e.g. ASC 606), and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting. This role will analyze contracts, reconcile revenue accounts, and assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes. The analyst will also partner with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Operations, and FP&A to ensure accurate revenue reporting.

About the Opportunity

• Analyze customer contracts and sales agreements to determine proper revenue recognition treatment in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reconciliations and journal entries.
• Collaborate with billing, sales operations, and FP&A teams to validate revenue data and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including revenue accruals, deferrals, and reporting schedules.
• Support external audit requests related to revenue and receivables.
• Participate in system implementations and process improvements related to revenue accounting and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and SOX requirements where applicable.
• Provide analysis and commentary on revenue trends, variances, and key business drivers.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience; public accounting or revenue accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 15
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
