Savage X Fenty is currently looking for a Retail Visual Merchandising Manager.


How Do You Fit In

As the Retail Visual Merchandising Manager, you will create a unique, impactful shopping experience for the Savage X Fenty retail stores and understand the importance of a strong branded environment to support business objectives. This role is responsible for instilling brand consistency and standards fleetwide through visual and written communication decks, field employee coaching & training, and as needed in-person visual store sets.


This position will report to our Savage X Fenty Chief Merchandising & Design Officer.

What You Will Do

  • Create and manage all visual related communications from corporate office to field.
  • Communicate & partner with field/store teams to plan, oversee, and execute product placement, fixture layouts, displays and window installations for any corporate floor set roll outs and marketing initiatives (monthly/seasonal).
  • Make informed decisions on merchandise presentation, interior displays, fixture placement, and mannequin styling, considering product ownership, business objectives, and individual store architecture while maintaining brand aesthetic.
  • Responsible for creating and executing all pertinent training programs and conducting formal visits (as needed) to elevate field/store level visual & marketing acuity, as well as four wall productivity.
  • Partner with HQ teams to be knowledgeable of seasonal buys and key items for flawless planning and execution of monthly floor sets.
  • Identify opportunities and develop solutions across market that will help drive business results both for individual locations as well as district & region.
  • Analyze inventory of key categories and communicate any product needs in the areas of depth and assortment to the Planning & Allocation teams.
  • Acts as a liaison between Corporate teams and Retail execution around signage- specifically partnering with Marketing, Creative, Planning, Merchandising and Retail Director to get appropriate signs to stores on time. Advise in-store signage placement and priority.
  • Manage all signage requests and replacements for retail stores.
  • Manage monthly print sheet compilation and communication with vendors, utilizing comprehensive knowledge of store design formats to ensure accurate and effective print execution.
  • Identify and follow up of preventative store deficiencies including broken/chipped fixtures & mannequins, paint, façade damages, lighting issues, overall fixture needs etc. as well as any marketing needs and reinforce back of house organization and maintenance.
  • Ability to participate in corporate/field leadership visits with ability to present and discuss any visual successes and/or opportunities across market.
  • Partner with HQ teams to hindsight any opportunities or successes of corporate marketing, product, or visual merchandising initiatives.
  • Utilize sales reports to track, analyze, and react to business ensuring store meets or exceeds financial plan and payroll goals.
  • Ability to recruit, interview, onboard and train any new visual talent fleetwide.
  • Partner with and mobilize District Managers and Regional Director peer group to create cross-departmental process, feedback and synergy.
  • Responsible for managing the execution of all Visual Merchandising & Marketing deliverables for new store openings, remodels, relocations & special projects as needed.


What You Can Bring

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a comparable retail environment with a focus on visual merchandising.
  • Ability to understand and interpret merchandise presentation direction that can support high volume/multi store and flagship stores.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize to deadlines with agility and nimbleness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and graciously with all levels within the organization (corporate office and field leadership).
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Mac iOS, Canva
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.


Physical Requirements

  • Able to safely lift/move 50 lbs, Able to stand and stretch for extended periods of time, and comfortable with heights and climbing ladders.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time. Flexibility to work on off peak hours, weekends, overnights.
  • Able to travel using various forms of transportation such as airplanes, trains, and buses.
  • Possess driver’s license and have the ability to drive to store locations.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $75,600 - $86,600. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location and other relevant factors.
