- Sales Strategy & Execution:
○Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase the market share of the contact lenses.
○Meet or exceed sales targets for lenses, including both prescription and non-prescription products (Clear and Color).
○Monitor the competitive landscape and adjust strategies to stay ahead of industry trends.
○Work closely with Lenskart stores to increase revenue share of Aqualens.
- Market Expansion & Relationship Management:
○Establish and maintain strong relationships with Optoms, Store Managers, Area Operations Managers and Zonal Managers.
○Develop and execute strategies to expand the brand’s footprint in both existing and new markets.
○Monitor customer feedback and work with the marketing and customer service teams to address concerns and improve customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge & Education:
○Promote and educate clients and customers about the advantages and technical aspects of the lens products.
○Provide sales training for store managers and optoms to ensure they are well-informed about product features, benefits, and applications.
○Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the contact lens industry.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
○Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to upper management.
○Track and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities.
○Utilize CRM tools to track and report on key performance metrics, including sales volume, revenue, and customer acquisition.
- Promotions & Marketing Support:
○Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing collateral.
○Assist in the execution of trade shows, industry events, and other promotional activities to increase product awareness and drive sales.
○Support the sales team with necessary materials and resources to drive successful sales initiatives.
○Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product deliveries and inventory management.
○Monitor sales order processes to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
○Identify and address any operational inefficiencies that may affect sales or customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications
○Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Optometry, or a related field (preferred).
○Relevant experience in the optical or lens industry may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
○Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the lens, optical, or healthcare industry.
○Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, managing relationships, and growing market share.
○Strong knowledge of lens products, optical technologies, and industry trends.
○Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build long-term partnerships.
○Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable insights.
○Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
○Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
○Flexibility to travel as required.
