Role Summary We are looking for a seasoned retail leader who desires the challenge and excitement of building something from the ground up. You will support all aspects of retail operations, ensuring that our retail operations enable a best-in-class customer experience: authentic, engaging, educational and aligned with Rivian's core values and culture. You will support building and maintaining the retail operations best practices, playbooks, and tools that map to effective operations and support achieving business KPIs. You will support all aspects of retail operations and will coordinate across a variety of team and projects as we bring our unique style of Retail to life. To be successful in this role, you must have a performance oriented and team-first approach and thrive in highly cross functional, ambiguous and unexpected environments, tackling all challenges with a flexible and solution-oriented mindset. You are results driven and demonstrate an understanding of how each interaction supports the broader Sales organization. Responsibilities Support maintaining the operational framework, best practices, resources and tools necessary to deliver the best experience possible to our customers, support retail growth, create scalability and achieve future goals Collaborate cross-functionally and with leadership. Build relationships through listening, integrity, and trust to continuously refine our processes to support sales and operations. Support the retail operations digital systems liaison/UX expert through device order/management, implementation and work with our digital tech, IT partners and system providers for all store level technologies. Support managing organizational processes to streamline communication and workflows across Retail teams and additional stakeholders, serving as a key point of integration. Support the Retail Operations team in meeting or exceeding deliverables and goals through alignment on process, timelines, dependencies, individual accountability, and responsibilities. Maintain overall timelines for Retail Operations initiatives and is responsible to tracking and communicating workback schedules of initiatives Support the coordination of weekly status meetings and updates and manage project tracking for all retail projects Support developing and maintaining centralized processes, resources, project tracking, PO ordering, etc. Support day-to-day Retail Operations and project manage special projects as you identify the need for ownership or as assigned to you Support the retail store opening process, including turnover from Facilities, store operations readiness, and coordination with key cross-functional partners, ensuring seamless, successful, and on-time site launches. Support various special events (both onsite and remote) across the commercial organization as needed  Support our site audit process to ensure our sites are operating consistently and efficiently. Support the development and maintenance of the Retail Playbook for all commercial sales typologies Identify & solve for market and location specific operational constraints and develop processes to support compliance Support all areas of retail operations as needed, including but not limited to digital tools, fleet management and maintenance, site assets, etc. Partner with EHS, HR, Facilities, Policy and Legal teams to develop policies, procedures and training methods for all retail locations Build and foster a strong workplace culture focused on a positive team experience and over-delivering for our customers   Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in retail operations or retail project/program management New store opening support or project / program management experience is a plus At least 21 years of age High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred  Ability to work a flexible schedule to support customers on nights, weekends and/or holidays; ability and willingness to travel based on business needs to support other market launches and operations  Must have a valid driver's license in the state of residence that you will be driving/operating a vehicle (or state that you are commuting daily to/from) and possess an exceptional driving record  No drug or alcohol related driving incidents in the last 3 years; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 3-5 year period. Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring    Ability to obtain and maintain local sales licenses if applicable in your state  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to communicate in a high-pressure environment. Strong understanding of written and spoken English  Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $78,700 to $98,400 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
