Summary

Job Description:

  • Responsible for applying SODIC’s innovative and world-class design standards for retailers within new developments and/or redevelopments in existing malls.
  • Serve as the functional expert for Tenant Design Criteria & Fit out construction; acting as the Landlord’s liaison to coordinate with the Tenant, Leasing, Mall Management, Development, Design and Construction to ensure each tenant operates on time with the highest possible level of quality and design.
  • Enhance the Retail Design and delivery process and ensure that it is achieved through an ongoing Process between retailers, their designers and their contractors.
  • Monitor and track, on a regular basis, design delivery and provide update reports to key stakeholders for their review and information.
  • Liaise with the leasing department which includes timely coordination with leasing in order seek clarification regarding agreed terms and conditions with tenants and track activities to ensure that tenancy is handed over to the occupant by the agreed deadline.
  • Interact with Mall Managers to coordinate work and costs during the tenancy fit-out process and ensure that minimum interruption occurs within the operational mall during the redevelopment projects.
  • Coordinate with the lessee’s designer(s) on the retail design and construction, conditions of premise and logistic package. This includes guiding retailer’s designer and/or contractor to forward a final retail design and MEP design for approval and follow up on the fit-out stage till the full operation of the unit.
  • Prepare a detailed tenant manual for each project emphasizing the Landlord Management’s rules and requirements, administration and control of the Tenant and the use of the building and/or the Premises.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture engineering discipline
  • 12+ years of professional experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in Retail Tenant Coordination / Project Management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to think out of the box, multitask and processes for quick accurate turnaround.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills (written and verbal) interacting with leadership
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Must have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and have flexibility to assist with tasks outside of the standard work hours.
  • Computer experience (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Internet, etc.) required.
  • Specific software expert (ACAD , Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
