The positions we are filling are for EXPERIENCED Restoration Technician in a disaster restoration company (experience in the restoration industry, particularly in water damage restoration, fire restoration, and mold remediation). This position reports to our Novato, CA location. Applicants without previous experience will not be considered for the position. Why Dry Kings? What You’ll Do: Conduct assessments of water, fire, and smoke damage in buildings. Perform mitigation tasks like securing job sites, demolition, cleanup, and equipment setup to restore properties. Work as part of an emergency after-hours response team, providing critical support to clients. Handle industrial restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters. Perform water extraction, structural drying, deodorization, and content cleaning. Manage job documentation using 3D scan technology. Ensure all work meets environmental standards and passes clearance tests. Deliver exceptional service and manage the client experience with professionalism and care. Identify safety hazards and follow safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of your team and clients. What We Offer: Competitive hourly compensation plus performance-based bonuses. What We’re Looking For: At least 1 year of experience in disaster restoration or a related industry. Preferred certifications such as WRT, ASD, AMRT or other mold remediation certifications. A valid California driver’s license and clean driving record. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow with us. Other Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance. Willingness to work overtime, travel locally, and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency services. Successful completion of a background check, subject to applicable laws.
