Position Summary

The Restoration Supervisor in San Diego, CA plays a critical role in managing emergency response services, structural drying, contents handling, and overseeing build-back and reconstruction efforts following property damage events. This role requires leadership on job sites, attention to detail, and adherence to Precision Environmental’s standards as well as OSHA, EPA, and local safety requirements. The ideal candidate must be available for emergency after-hours and weekend work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead emergency mitigation, structural drying, and restoration activities for residential and commercial properties.
  • Oversee and support build-back and reconstruction efforts, coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Monitor and document temperature, humidity, and moisture readings at job sites.
  • Set up and maintain drying chambers, negative air machines, and containment zones.
  • Safely handle and prepare contents for cleaning, storage, or disposal.
  • Perform HEPA vacuuming, disinfecting, and deep cleaning of affected areas.
  • Accurately complete job site documentation, including moisture mapping, field notes, and before/after photos/videos.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with all job site safety protocols.
  • Operate and maintain tools and restoration/reconstruction equipment.
  • Assist with demolition, drywall repair, painting, flooring, and general reconstruction as needed.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolding, or in confined spaces as required.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of construction and reconstruction practices, including drywall, framing, flooring, and finish carpentry.
  • Strong background in water mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke restoration, and build-back.
  • Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, blueprints, and safety protocols.
  • Strong math skills to calculate measurements, material needs, and job costs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to document work clearly and accurately.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs regularly, wearing full PPE, and working in variable conditions.
  • Comfortable leading crews and working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Willingness to travel locally and respond to after-hours emergency calls.

Required Education & Experience

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • 2–4 years of experience in restoration and reconstruction services, including water/fire/mold jobs and hazardous waste handling.
  • IICRC WRT certification is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is encouraged, but not required.

Work Environment


This is a hands-on role requiring work in post-disaster environments that may be wet, dirty, hazardous, or structurally compromised. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors, indoors, in confined spaces, and at heights. Travel throughout San Diego County is required.
