We’re seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven
Restaurant Manager to help lead our team with warmth, precision, and purpose. This role is vital in delivering an exceptional guest experience while fostering a collaborative, positive work environment for our team. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring smooth daily operations, championing our culture of Southern hospitality, and empowering team members to grow and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Hospitality Leadership: Champion a culture of hospitality and service excellence, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and valued from arrival to departure.
- Team Experience: Inspire, coach, and support team members to deliver heartfelt service, maintain high standards, and enjoy a fulfilling work environment.
- Daily Operations: Oversee and coordinate daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service and smooth guest flow.
- Training & Development: Lead by example and provide ongoing training in hospitality standards, menu knowledge, and service techniques. Support professional development and encourage career growth.
- Guest Experience Oversight: Resolve guest concerns with empathy and swift action; identify opportunities to enhance overall dining experience.
- Staff Scheduling & Management: Create and manage team schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and a healthy work-life balance for employees.
- Culture & Morale: Partner with the General Manager to promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive culture grounded in Yardbird’s core values.
- Brand Representation: Represent Yardbird in the community through local outreach, events, and creating memorable guest experiences that drive repeat business.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, presentation, and professionalism throughout the restaurant.
- Reporting & Inventory: Track key metrics and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Manage inventory and ordering to control costs and maintain quality.
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management with a strong focus on guest service
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems; knowledgeable in F&B quality standards and safety protocols
- Valid Food Handler Card (required upon employment)
- Energetic, guest-centric mindset with a passion for building meaningful connections
