Summary

Consumer Advocacy Projects, Inc operates a day program and 33 group homes and three Day Programs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator for our residential program area in our N&W region (Greenway Rd and Cave Creek Rd). This position reports to the Regional Director in that region. Salary is $46,700 per year plus a monthly performance bonus. Responsibilities include: Develop, implement, modify, and monitor consumers' habilitative support plans and behavior treatment plans. Supervise and monitor staff schedules and performance. Provide supervision, coaching, and training of all direct support professionals. Oversee daily operation for compliance to DES/DDD monitoring rules, program implementation, inventories, consumer medical care, nutrition, medication, home safety, and cleanliness. Ensure high quality programs and confirm that all consumer habilitation activities and records comply with contractual agreements. Oversee the direction, performance, evaluation, and counseling of Direct Support Professionals. Maintain thorough understanding of all licensing, program monitoring, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Ensure the quality of group homes and staff compliance. Conduct weekly, biweekly, and monthly reviews of all assigned group homes. Follow up with DDD and staff to ensure contractual compliance. Required Qualifications: Solid knowledge of DES/DDD Licensing and Program Monitoring rules. Extensive knowledge of programs and strategies for serving individuals with developmental disabilities, positive behavior management techniques, and development of behavior plans. Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Quick and creative thinker. Ability to plan, organize, and carry out program objectives. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of principles of supervision with demonstrated ability to maintain successful working relationships with all staff, consumers, families, and state employees. Must have fairly clean MVR and will be subject to criminal background check. Qualified candidate should be a leader and team player, able to multi-task and be efficient. The ability to delegate and follow up is necessary to be successful in this position. Exceptional time management skills are a must. Habilitation skill-building and behavior management experience required, as is residential service experience. Candidates must have previous experience in this position prior to applying. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in business, social work, or related degree or comparable Program Coordinating experience in the DDD field.
