About the Role:
As the Residential Operations Manager, you will oversee the management and compliance of multiple children's homes based across the North West and West Midlands in line with Ofsted regulations, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people with EBD and LD needs. You will be the named Responsible Individual with Ofsted and play a pivotal role in shaping the quality, culture, and growth of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership across multiple residential homes
Ensure full regulatory compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations
Support and supervise Registered Managers in delivering high-quality care
Lead on safeguarding, quality assurance, and service improvement
Drive recruitment, staff development, and retention initiatives
Represent the organisation during Ofsted inspections and external audits
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
About You:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
At least 5 years' experience in a senior role within children's residential services
Proven track record of managing multiple homes or large-scale residential services
Excellent knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted inspection framework
Strong leadership, communication, and safeguarding expertise
Able to register as the Responsible Individual with Ofsted
Must hold a UK driving licence
