Job Summary

The Research Scientist Assistant I you will work independently and with other members of the research team to complete a variety of ongoing research projects. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join Dr. Rhonda Prisby’s laboratory to manage the lab, research studies, and the day-to-day laboratory tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Exercise Science, or a related science field, or the equivalent experience.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in vascular physiology and/or bone biology.
• Prior lab management experience.
  
  

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform experimental data collection.
• Perform data analysis.
• Learn techniques related to the lab.
• Animal handling and related surgeries
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the lab.
• Order lab supplies.
• Train other lab personnel on laboratory procedures and techniques.
