We’re looking for a Research Programme Manager to join our Research Programmes Directorate, supporting the strategic development and delivery of a range of NIHR and non-NIHR research funding programmes. Initially, the successful candidate may play a key role in the Policy Research Programme, but this role offers the flexibility to contribute across other programmes within the directorate, such as RfPB or Wales.

The Job
The roles will cover the full end-to-end process of research management, from designing new schemes to launching new calls for applications through to the active monitoring of funded projects and will require an ability to work collaboratively with other team members and across organisations. The posts provide the opportunity for exciting external liaison, with interfaces to UK government, academia, industry and the clinical community.

Working Arrangements – Hybrid Model
This is a hybrid role with a focus on in-office collaboration. Employees are required to work from our offices in Twickenham, at least one day per week, totaling a minimum of 12 days per quarter. This requirement may increase based on team or business needs.
