The Regulatory Coordinator is a detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills, capable of managing deadlines and multiple projects.
Responsibilities include reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of master batch cards and related documents before ERP uploads, maintaining regulatory databases, reviewing documentation, coordinating with suppliers for compliance materials, and working cross-functionally with various departments.
Key Accountabilities
- Upload and maintain approved R&I formulas and master batch cards in Visual software.
- Coordinate with QC, TRG, PPC, and Purchasing on formula updates.
- Ensure accuracy of ingredient data in Coptis, including INCI, composition, and regulatory info.
- Support raw material data collection (e.g., REACH, NMPA, origin).
- Help manage raw material lab software and regulatory reviews for OTC/Cosmetic projects.
- Handle multiple projects and liaise with R&I, marketing, and legal teams.
- Prepare and maintain regulatory documents (e.g., SDS, GMP, CofAs).
- Stay updated on global regulatory changes and manage related documentation.
- Perform general office tasks as needed.
- Attend to other regulatory and general office duties as required.
Job Requirements
Education
- Post-secondary education in Science, preferably in Chemistry or a related field, and equivalent work experience.
- Post-graduate certificate/diploma in Regulatory Affairs.
Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs.
Other Skills
- Knowledge of the Visual/Coptis Program is an asset.
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and good problem-solving skills.
- Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to multi-task.
- Strong planning and organization skills.
- Some repetitive tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Neck: Occasional movement of the neck in a neutral position with head-tilting and/or turning.
- Arms/Elbow/Wrist/Hand: Occasional movement of arms in a neutral position with some repetition of hands, wrists, and/or fingers during typing and handling documents.
- Shoulder: Occasional neutral rotational movement at the shoulder when typing on a keyboard located on the desk.
- Back: Very occasional lifting.
