Our goal is to enable a metaverse where people can share virtual experiences that interact seamlessly with the real world. To achieve this, our XR Codec Interactions and Avatars organization is focused on developing technologies that enhance social presence and interaction through Codec Avatars and other advanced XR technologies.
Your job will involve projects ranging from research to product development. You will contribute to incubating the world's largest human ground truth datasets to empower the social presence and interaction technology. To be successful in this role, you should have a basic understanding of the relevant technologies, be proactive to learn through the process and grow with the team.Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Masters in Computer Science or related field with a specialization in Computer Vision or Machine Learning. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta. Experience developing and designing computer vision technologies and systems. Experience developing software in Python. Experience working and communicating cross functionally in a team environment. Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta. Experience in shipping machine learning products to customers. Experience solving complex problems and comparing alternative solutions, tradeoffs, and wide-ranging points of view to determine a path forward. Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by first-authored publications in top conferences like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICASSP, INTERSPEECH etc. or through contributions to industrial applications.
