Execute product development activities such as product development or reformulation, raw material replacement and/ or adjustment, process improvements, and other processes that are applicable.
Conduct sensory evaluation for delivered raw materials and other sensory evaluation activities that are essential in the assessment of developed products and/ or processes.
Evaluate new and alternative materials that are important in product developments and batch trial runs.
Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for needed raw or packaging material. e. Supervises and coordinates batch trial runs and standardization of process design for production, with Purchasing for needed raw / packaging materials, and Production for BTR schedule.
Perform shelf life study for new and/ or existing products for validation. Provides consolidated shelf life study.
Conduct thorough and intensive research on the technical information of raw materials for product development.
Provide information necessary for label development. Provides sample products when necessary. 8. Review and update R&D documents.
Perform other duties as may be required by the immediate superior and/or the management.
Job Specifications:
Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology / Chemistry/ Food Engineering
At least five (5) years of experience in product development from conceptualization to product commercialization
