Epitec is looking for a R&D Engineer with our SHARK client.

Responsibilities

? Develop and implement protocols & pipelines for automated sensor evaluation.

? Process and analyze sensor signal for SOP sensor performance evaluation.

? Develop GUIs and tools for sensor data visualization and exploration.

? Implement machine learning models for wearable sensor signals.

Minimum qualifications

? Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, applied math, sensing & control, robotics, or a related field.

? 3+ years experience with sensor data modeling, analysis, and visualization.

? 3+ years of experience coding with Python and software engineering best practices (version control, code reviews). Knowledge of MATLAB is a plus.

? Solid understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) and sensor characterization.

? Experience developing GUIs, data visualization & exploration tools using QT, HTML5 (Plotly, Chart.js, D3.js, etc) or other toolkits

? Experience implementing, debugging, fine-tuning machine learning models.

Preferred qualifications

? Master’s degree and 1+ years of industry experience.

? Experience bringing-up and debugging prototype/scientific software-hardware systems (e.g., wearable sensing systems, multi-camera sensing/tracking solutions like OptiTrack, etc.).

? Experience with sensor fusion, human-computer interaction (HCI), human–machine collaboration, machine learning, deep learning, or related fields.

? Experience with C or C++ programming and virtual reality (VR) application development.
