We're Hiring: R&D and Product Development Engineer – Technical Textiles (m/f/d)

📍 Location: Altshausen, Germany | 🕓 Full-time (40h/week) | 🌍 German & English (min. B2)

• Develop new woven or knitted narrow elastic products
• Work directly on the machines to bring samples to life
• Document your trials and results to support product development
• Research and source yarns and materials for prototyping
• Organize your projects and collaborate with production, sales, and partners
• Take ownership of your work — and be ready for some travel along the way!

✅ A degree in engineering or 3+ years of experience in a technical role

✅ You're motivated, hands-on, and like solving problems independently

✅ You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty on a machine

✅ You speak German and English fluently (min. B2 in both)

✅ You're open to travel when needed

🌟 Experience with narrow elastic textiles (woven or knitted)

🌟 Knowledge of MüCad or Comez Draw

🌟 Background in materials science

🌟 Coding skills (e.g. Python, Java, C, or similar)

🌟 Familiarity with Autodesk CAD or similar design software

🌟 Hands-on skills in electrical engineering (wiring, sensor integration, etc.)
