A growing player in the clean energy sector is looking to bring on a talented Estimator or Estimating Manager (depending on experience) to support large-scale renewable energy projects across the U.S. This individual will take ownership of the full estimating function—guiding bid strategies, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and leading a team to deliver accurate and competitive proposals.

You’ll be a key player in helping the company win and execute complex energy infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do

✅ Lead and mentor a team of estimators to produce detailed cost proposals for utility-scale renewable projects

✅ Interpret bid documents, drawings, specs, and site conditions to scope and price accurately

✅ Own the estimating lifecycle—from early-stage scoping to final proposal review

✅ Validate pricing models, labor assumptions, subcontractor inputs, and vendor quotes

✅ Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment between estimates and execution plans

✅ Maintain estimating tools, cost databases, and historical benchmarks to improve accuracy

✅ Support leadership with risk assessments and pricing strategy for key bids

✅ Continuously improve the team's processes, tools, and best practices

What You Bring

✔ 5+ years of estimating experience in construction or energy, including 2+ years leading teams

✔ Background in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field (degree preferred but not required)

✔ Strong command of Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and estimating tools; Salesforce familiarity a plus

✔ Able to think strategically while staying detail-focused

✔ Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Bonus Points For

➕ Experience with AutoCAD or SAP

➕ Exposure to renewable energy or utility-scale infrastructure projects
