One of the top nuclear engineering firms in the United States is looking to add a Structural Design Engineer to their team!

Job Description

• Structural analysis (static or response spectra) seismic and other load combinations per plant criteria
• Equipment and piping supports
• Building structural frames
• Foundations
• Piping or Pipe support analysis per ASME Section III or B31.1 design
• Lifting assembly, rigging or crane designs
• AISC steel and ACI concrete design codes
• Component stress analysis (GTSTRUDL or ANSYS)
• Plant impact reviews and evaluations
• Assessment of existing structures, development of retrofit type designs
  
  

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from a US-credited college
• Prior experience with: static structural analyses, structural dynamics, AISC, ACI classes, seismic analysis
• Proficiency in MathCAD preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with report writing, calculations, drawings, specifications
• 1+ years of experience working on design and analysis for Nuclear Power Plants, Industrial Facilities, or relevant project types within Steel and/or Concrete
• Must have experience and knowledge working with Design Codes - AISC, ACI, ASCE
  
  

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
