Summary

The Software Partner Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and nurturing partnerships with strategic software partners to drive mutual growth and success for Patterson and our customers. This role is responsible for the strategy and day to day management of an assigned set of strategic software partners that integrate with Patterson’s industry-leading Practice Management Software solutions. You will work closely with various internal and external teams and stakeholders, ultimately prioritizing and executing the key deliverables that ensure continued growth of these strategic partners within Patterson’s software portfolio.

Essential Functions

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, and serve as their primary point of contact for all partnership-related activities
  • Develop a deep understanding of partners' offerings, technology, and market positioning to effectively communicate and advocate for their solutions within the organization.
  • Establish and measure against key performance indicators (KPI) that ensures the success of partnerships and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Effective written and verbal communication cross functionally and to senior leadership about the state of partnerships.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute project plans that support new product offerings, including go to market strategies.
  • Supports partner contract oversight (with support from legal counsel and senior management) related to overall contract structure, terms and conditions, and project pricing. This role is accountable for execution and compliance of the contract terms.
  • Assists in gathering market intelligence on customers, competitors, industry trends, etc.
  • Identify and nurture new opportunities that drive further growth for the business.
  • Works closely with our marketing and sales teams to develop joint marketing campaigns and programs that drive revenue and customer acquisition.
  • Works closely with Inside Sales to align fiscal budget goals while ensuring the team has what they need from partner to succeed.
  • Assists in larger rollouts of Patterson flagship Practice Management Systems, where partner integration dependencies may exist.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successful management of all aspects of software partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales and partner programs.
  • Technical acumen: a strong conceptual understanding of APIs and data exchange between applications.
  • Adept at project management, including the ability to organize and prioritize tasks against cross-functional teams, drive accountability, and ensure success.
  • Very strong written and presentation skills, proficient with communicating with large, varied audiences.
  • Agile learner – ability to grasp new technologies and trends.


Working Environment

  • Office environment – either in Patterson facility or at home/remote location

  • Ability to be work remote and be on camera as needed
  • Travel to corporate sites is periodically required (Quarterly or so)
  • Periodic on call rotations and available outside of normal business hours on evenings and weekends during critical production release or issue escalation periods

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.

$110,000 - $120,000
