We’re looking for a senior, versatile web developer to support our growing workload.We need someone who can confidently step into projects with minimal hand-holding. The core focus is Shopify and WordPress, with occasional light troubleshooting on other tools (Zapier, embeds, etc.).

This is ideal for someone who:

• Has strong spoken and written English for client interactions
• Is comfortable building full sites from scratch
• Knows how to hit deadlines—or flag issues early
• Is responsive, detail-oriented, and cost-conscious

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in web development
• 5+ years of Shopify experience, including theme customization and Liquid
• 3+ years of WordPress experience, including custom themes/plugins
• Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript (you can build pages cleanly from design)
• Familiarity with Zapier, forms, embeds, and light workflow tools
• Strong English — especially for client-facing calls, written updates, and async briefings
• Comfortable managing your own time and deadlines
• Availability to overlap with U.S. business hours (PST mostly) for key communications

Responsibilities:

• Build, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, utilize plugins and more
• Build and manage WordPress websites, utilize plugins, and more
• Execute full website builds
• Communicate professionally in English with clients via Zoom, Slack, and email
• Troubleshoot small tech issues like Zapier automations, form errors, etc.
• Set realistic deadlines and stick to them—or flag blockers early

• Remote, Ecuador-based
• Must be professionally proficient in English, both spoken and written
• Client-facing communication expected for site builds
