EBP Audit Manager
Position Overview
The EBP Audit Manager is responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for Employee Benefit Plans (EBPs) in compliance with ERISA regulations. The role involves overseeing audit teams, reviewing audit workpapers, and ensuring the highest standards of audit quality and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements for Employee Benefit Plans.
- Supervise audit teams and provide guidance on audit techniques and procedures.
- Review and approve audit workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure audits are completed in accordance with ERISA regulations and relevant accounting standards.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and assist in the implementation of corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting Employee Benefit Plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active CPA license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on Employee Benefit Plans.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing audit teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
