Director of Engineering - Platform Services
Location: 100% REMOTE, core work hours 9am - 1pm (PST)
Compensation: $200k - $240k + valuable equity

What You'll Do
As our
Director of Platform Engineering you will lead the strategy, development and operations of our internal and external platform infrastructure. In this role, you will oversee a team of engineers and service owners to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing platform capabilities that support the company's products, internal development, and business operations
- Lead Platform Services team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive DevOps adoption to improve deployment frequency and reduce lead time.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure design and optimization for scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on product development and feature enhancements.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery through API and microservices best practices.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, implementing improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
What We're Looking For
- Senior engineering leadership experience (Director level preferred)
- Strong DevOps and CI/CD background.
- Expertise in platform engineering and cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to develop and execute technical strategies for business growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, including mentoring.
- Familiarity with Agile and the SDLC.
- Desirable: System architecture, software development, and API development experience.
- Bonus points if you have knowledge of media, Adtech, and data engineering
Compensation & Perks
